The model gives developers another Sonnet-tier choice for operations spanning integrated development environments and command-line interfaces.
Internal benchmarking revealed the model performed well across multiple coding use cases, with particularly notable results on CLI-oriented operations. The model also showed efficient use of prompt caching and delivered competitive response times at lower computational levels, positioning it as an attractive option for teams seeking rapid, capable Sonnet-class assistance within Copilot.

The model is rolling out to subscribers on Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Enabling access
Administrators managing Copilot Enterprise and Copilot Business subscriptions can activate the model for their organization via model policy controls in Copilot. Like other Sonnet variants in GitHub Copilot, this model operates with Zero Data Retention (ZDR).
