All GitHub users can now access a redesigned repository-level pull request listing page currently in public preview. The updated interface introduces robust filtering mechanisms, a space-saving compact presentation mode, and additional functionality to streamline pull request management.
Highlights
The redesigned page simplifies locating and managing pull requests within a repository through expanded filtering and search capabilities:
- Content assist streamlines filter discovery and application
- Advanced search functionality includes AND and OR operators plus nested query support
- Collapsible sidebar provides rapid access to frequently used filters such as "Authored by me" and "Involves me"
- Compact presentation mode enables viewing additional pull requests simultaneously
- Enhanced contextual information displays status check tallies, stack indicators, and markers for unread activity
Known limitations
The team is actively working to resolve several outstanding issues and feature gaps:
- Milestone information is not currently displayed
- Bulk operations are not yet available
- Label emojis may not render consistently
- Custom view persistence is not supported at this time
