The platform has overhauled its home dashboard interface to help users quickly identify, comprehend, and respond to their highest-priority tasks all in one place. The refreshed default view now presents concise, user-configurable panels showing recent agent tasks, pull requests, and issues. When the preview is active, the activity feed has been relocated to its own dedicated page at github.com/feed. Users can opt into these changes by turning on New Dashboard Experience within Feature preview settings.
What's new
- An agent module displays the current state of all your agent tasks and offers direct links to individual task sessions.
- Dedicated pull request and issue modules surface your latest pull requests and issues, making it easier to jump into ongoing work. Both modules include built-in filtering capabilities to tailor the displayed information.
- The new Feed tab serves as the primary location for your activity feed and is also accessible via github.com/feed. The feed's underlying content and available filters remain unchanged. On mobile browsers, a navigation link to the feed appears in the hamburger menu.
- The dashboard now features updated visual styling and interface improvements.
- Quick-action menus across the modules let you initiate tasks directly. You can route issues to the Copilot coding agent or load pull requests and issues into Copilot Chat for reference purposes.

Assigning an issue to Copilot triggers a dialog box that prompts you to select the target repository, branch, and custom agent configuration to use.
